FIABCI-Georgia Prix d' Excellence Awards

The FIABCI-Georgia Prix d' Excellence Awards will be held in Georgia for the third time, recognizing the best real estate projects.

 

The companies that win the FIABCI-Georgia Prix d’Excellence at the national level will be given the opportunity to present their completed projects on behalf of Georgia at the global awards and gain international recognition.

 

Only FIABCI-Georgia member companies can participate in the competition.

Nominations

 

 

 

The above categories are intended for sustainable and resilient projects and buildings, as well as for people who demonstrate efforts to reduce the ecological footprint of the built environment.

 

High-rise residential buildings

Apartments, condominiums, etc. (17 or more floors).

 

Mid-rise residential buildings

Apartments, condominiums, etc. (more than 5 and less than 17 floors).

 

Low-rise residential buildings

Settlements, housing complexes, etc. (5 or less floors).

 

Accessible housing complex category

A private developer or public sector project. The building must meet the criteria, prices and guidelines for accessible housing.

 

Hotel/apartment

A hotel or apartments for leisure or business purposes that have only a commercial function.

 

Multifunctional complex

A project that includes at least three main components (note: a facility with only a service or auxiliary function is not considered a main component). These main components must be physically and functionally integrated with each other and connected by covered underground channels. For example, A project that combines residential, commercial, office and retail functions.

 

Office spaces

Office buildings, office complexes, office parks.

 

Resort areas (resort)

A place of rest where people spend their vacation or holidays, e.g. sea resorts, mountain resorts, amusement parks, marinas, etc. An independent resort largely meets the needs of the vacationer without the latter having to leave the territory of the facility (e.g. provides food, accommodation, entertainment, shops).

 

Retail spaces

Shopping malls, hypermarkets, etc.

 

Public infrastructure

Only projects financed and developed with state funds, e.g. Government buildings, public hospitals, roads, bridges, airports, parks, stadiums, etc.

 

Master Plan

A conceptual development plan approved by the relevant agency. At least one phase of the plan (e.g. suburban development or settlement development) must be completed.

 

Sustainable Development

A project, company, people. This category is intended for eco-friendly, sustainable and resilient buildings, as well as for people who, through their actions, have an impact on the protection of the environment.

 

Energy-efficient and green projects

Energy-efficient buildings (e.g. more natural light, rainwater storage/collection and further use, green building certificate, etc.).

 

Cultural Heritage

The restoration of old buildings to their original appearance or their preservation as determined by the relevant agency/owner. The restored building can have any purpose, depending on the wishes of its owner. A building nominated in the Heritage category may also be nominated in another relevant category. For example, if the building functions as a hotel, the owner may nominate it in both the Heritage and Hotel categories. It will be assessed against the criteria of both categories.

To submit a project, you must complete the online registration form and upload all required documents. In the registration form, you must indicate the categories in which you wish to participate.

 

Selection criteria:

 

The National Gold Award will be awarded to the best national project in each category

 

The National Silver Award will be awarded to the second-place national project in each category.

A jury of Georgian and international real estate experts will review the applications and draw up a list of companies that have progressed to the second stage in each nomination. Candidates may be asked to provide additional information.

 

Selection of winners

 

The jury will make a decision on the winning projects. The shortlisted candidates will attend the awards ceremony, where the final winners will be announced.
